Gears 5 - Geomorph Unable to Extract Certain Models

Hello there,

Forgive me for posting again but, I'm having trouble using Geomorph to extract a couple of models, the client freezes then crashes to desktop. If I'm not asking too much, could you see if the models are extractable on your end as OBJs? The models are the last components for the UIR Vehicles, I've been able to extract the main bodies, just not the turrets etc.

Hi, sorry for our late reply. We looked at the samples that you gave. The files are correct and rigid. Geomorph can still sometimes fail when it comes to the static meshes from Gears. Thanks for reporting the situation. We've fixed it right now so the Geomorph can support these files that you gave us and probably more unsupported ones. The fix will be delivered with the upcoming update. Thank you for your patience :)

@Arwglacy Could I potentially pay you to send me over those models since you can open them on your end? Or is the update close to release? Apologies for asking, but I’m incredibly excited to finally get the UIR vehicles 😹

@Voralla Bam! The update is out and you're good to go right now. You can convert them yourself. And if you run acrross more stubborn models like that, please tell us so we can make them compatible too. And all things aside if you want us to extract a certain model for reasons like if you don't want to get your hands dirty, don't forget we can do that too anytime you want.
